My Heartbeats 

Motherhood is not for the faint of heart or if you need sleep to survive. The journey to motherhood is easy for some and others walk through broken glass and lava to get there. Then you are blessed and you have nine months and some less of your body turning against you most of the time. All while you try to protect at all cost the little blessing you are carrying.

Upon their arrival your little blessing is everything you imagined and more. While the joys of motherhood can become overwhelming you have to remember that you are not perfect. There will be good days and sad days. There is never a moment of peace or rest and you try to keep your sanity. It seems never ending as they grow and challenge your every nerve, patience and sanity.

Having a 26 year old and a 4 year old has turned my world upside down. I have to say that I would not change a thing in my journey and if I had to do it al over again I would take the same path. Who needs sleep and sanity when you have the love and respect of your children. Blessed that I was chosen as the mother to my children.
