I canโt believe itโs already time to plan for Valentines Dayโค๏ธโค๏ธ! Itโs one of my favorite days to celebrate and love on my family more than I do everyday๐๐
One of the things I love to do is to incorporate a learning experience for RJ around holidays that tie into learning about history, building his character or teaching him about the fruits of the spirit of which one of them is Loveโค๏ธโค๏ธ
Love โค๏ธ๐โค๏ธ is the first Fruit of the Spirit. โLove is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.โ I cherish teaching him to love himself and who he is, showing kindness, being a good person as well as loving others for who they are as a person. Iโm planting the seeds that will be harvested throughout his life. I see those seeds growing everyday in what he does and the person he is becoming. .

I decorated the island with items from Dollar Tree and floral arrangement from Trader Joes and for under $30. I also used one of the red runner that I used for Christmas ๐คฃ retool and reuse over here ๐ Itโs easy and convenient to use the island for these quick celebrations because itโs easy to decorate, easy to clean up and a central point in our home. ๐คฃ๐

How do you celebrate or teach your little ones about Valentineโs Day?
